Prior to becoming a self-employed parent, Ally spent several years in various creative roles at ABC Television, and although her time there was rewarding and plentiful, it wasn't until her first child was born that she came to realize her true calling in life. Returning to work with knots in her stomach from dropping her newborn off at a poorly run home daycare, she became determined to find a way to better her family's situation.
Ally has become a nationally recognized personality through her widely popular internet radio show, THIS LITTLE PARENT STAYED HOME, where she is diligently chipping away at her mission to help 1 million parents bring their personal careers home. It is on her weekly live show that she is able to help challenged career parents deal with the sometimes overwhelming prospect of starting a new business while still running a household, and creating a haven in which parents across the nation will continue to thrive and get the support they need in their personal journeys.
Ally Loprete has been featured in Working Mother Magazine, the Los Angeles Daily News, ABC TV's Eye Witness News, and in a great deal of internet media including The Business Opportunities Weblog, Divine Caroline, Motherhood Incorporated, WorkItMom, Work at Home Success, Inc. Magazine and The Mommy Reporter, to name just a few. Ally writes a column entitled HOME FREE for the Santa Clarita Valley Tidbits weekly magazine and is a nationally recognized motivational speaking to many women's groups across the country with a concentration on family and career balance.
